现在一般都装最新的RHEL6了，虽然目前只放出了x86和x86_64版，还没有放出Itanium和IBM POWER版，但毫无疑问RHEL6的新特性比以前的版本要好很多，就相当于98到XP的飞跃。
在官网免费注册并验证邮箱后可以下载任意版本的RedHat，不注册只能下载RH7、RH9和RHEL3等版本。另外不管从哪下载的RHEL都可以用注册的RHN帐号获得免费的30天在线升级。
另外需要说明的是，目前官方所提供的下载，RHEL5的版本不是5.3或5.5，而是5.6。

Redhat 害人不浅。。。。推荐使用Debian stable或者Ubuntu，fedora也凑和！～

晕 RHEL5没有工作站版的说法 只有2个版本 server和client ，不像4

没有专为EM64T发布的版本 都是称呼为amd64， 两者是完全一样的

建议到红帽官网申请试用帐户 下载镜像 , x86_64的是在难找，给你找个i386的聊胜于无

RedHat做得很好（我用的是Debian，仍然要这么说），官方FTP上提供了最新版测试（直接下载安装就是了，最好也注册一下，能花钱买一份更是对RedHat的肯定）

也可以从/pub/redhat/linux内下载早期版本的软件包（没测试，不知要不要密码）。
